8/24. I ordered from another shop for a can y’all do not carry. It got to my ffl….who uses silencershop. I’m already a registered customer with photo and prints on file. So I went to the ffl when my can arrived and paid for the tax stamp and his $100 transfer fee! Since then, it took 3 days just for yall to “review” my info (stated before already a customer with photo and prints in file), the ffl said that day I should receive a Docusign email from yall for the form 4. It took 3 days just to review it and still waiting on that Docusign…..to start the form 4 wait.

Why is it you never discuss any OTHER mounting options, such as...SilencerCo ASR Bravo (probably others too)! I understand you're in the money-making business, but B&T keeps saying their products are so "cheap" that they're "passing along the savings to the Customer." Just found out this morning I didn't need to remove the ASR mounts from my rifles but could have purchased a Silencerco Bravo mount that hooks right up to the SRBS 7.62! Might just send the NATO adapter back just based on sheer principle.

I've gone with the Harbor Freight Rock Tumbler. I use the small stainless steel rods in it. I vary with solvents but last night I used some Balistol, Citric acid powder, liquid dish detergent and water. I ran the baffles for 24 hours and they came out almost completely clean. I did have to scrap some lead caked on a few using a small knife and/or a brass bristle tooth brush. Another thing I did last time, and I believe which made cleaning a breeze this time was to, once completely clean, I baked the baffles and tube in an oven at 250 degrees for about 30 minutes. From the oven and still hot I immersed all the peaces in a jar of silicone oil (which I purchase on Amazon for this purpose). After the pieces cooled (I actually left mine in the bath overnight) I let the silicone oil drip off the pieces but re-assembled the suppressor with the pieces still coated in oil. The oil does two things... I think it acts to make the suppressor essentially a "wet" suppressor and I really believe the heat treatment and soaking allowed me to wipe off most of the carbon. The Rock Tumbler and steel rods removed most of the lead. The biggest issue for me now is the lead. It is not as excessive as it was before the silicone oil treatment but is still occurs. I'm wondering, since the melting point of lead is much lower than stainless steel I wonder if I can "spot" melt the lead using a blowtorch??

Integrals can be broken up into 2 general types with different purposes: mechanical integration and legal integration. Silencers that have a proper, functional purpose are usually for caliber that are slightly above the speed of sound and the integral suppressor allows for velocity reduction to subsonic speeds, best example is the MP5SD. The gun 'doesnt work' without the suppressor on. The other kind are not mechanically nessesary, but are done for legal reason such as the example in this video. The gun would work without the silencer, but its attachment meets a legal requirement such as a 10" barrel mated to a 6" silencer. Some weird examples would be the Q Honey Badger SD, where the suppressor is tucked under a handguard longer than the barrel, but i dont _believe_ that Q pins then. If i remember theyre only offered as an SBR or pistol. Mechanically integrated silencers are amazing, but remember that pistol braces exist, and that an SBR stamp is only slightly more of a hassle over a Silencer stamp, so the usefulness of integrals done for legal reasons is dubious but _sometimes_ extremely valid.

Maybe this will be my first silencer purchase. It's hard to drop so much money on a muffler, but if I'm going to, I may as well get something that will work on several different guns & calibers & will last me the rest of my life.

I've been working with additive technology for quite some time now, and it was always obvious that it would THE technology for making cans, once it matured a little. We're there finally and that'll mean more unique designs and options, as well as better performance, for the end user. Additive should bring pricing down over time too, though the raw materials are still really expensive, the print times are still slow, and some of the post processing can be labor intensive.

What adapter do you have on the AK barrel itself in this video?

Although I love my Wolverine I am down for trying something new. But I was like "fuck I am gonna have to remove my x37 muzzle brakes from my AKs if I wanna use this can". I am glad I can swap between my Pbs1 and this can within seconds. Gonna order one right now.
